The ExTool-B-010 provides the same efficient, high-performance capabilities found in our hydro-pneumatic ExTool models in a battery-powered solution. A rechargeable, lithium-ion battery provides reliable power, eliminates the need for a pneumatic hose, and allows for mobile, flexible installation of the full line ok SK and LK KOENIG EXPANDER plugs. The unit features the same maximum pulling force of other ExTool models, and can be easily adapted into existing production lines and supports a wide range of environments.
Hydropneumatic setting tool for the installation of KOENIG EXPANDER®. Quick tool change avoids long changeover times. The required working stroke is preprogrammed and can be retrieved by the Expander type to be processed (max. 64 memory locations). In addition, the working stroke is referenced for each individual Expander, which guarantees high process stability and quality. The press is force and distance controlled; an RS232 or USB interface can be used to trace corresponding data on the customer’s computer for later processing. The required software is included in the scope of delivery.
The ExTool Series allows for the installation of the full line of SK and LK series KOENIG EXPANDER plug. These hydro - pneumatic hand tools are ergonomically designed for performance, and feature built-in suction that holds the plug against the nose of the gun, allowing for easy installation in any orientation. Spent mandrels are automatically pulled into the mandrel collector by a vacuum, and tools can also be equipped with a separate high-volume mandrel collection system. ExTool models are robust and easy to use, designed for long-lasting performance on any assembly line. they are delivered ready for operation, and nosepieces can be ordered to allow for the insertion of diferent diameter plugs.
