Management Team

Robert Tomlin is on the Board of Directors and the C.E.O. of Avlock International. He is also one of the directors of Avlock International India Private Limited. Robert reports to the Company Board and is accountable for ensuring the sale of the company’s product range, managing customer relations across different channels, staying abreast of industry development, and monitoring competitive threats. He defines sales budgets in line with the company's objectives and monitors the company’s top customers. Robert has 40 years of experience in the fastener industry. He enjoys cycling, golf and hiking.

Sameer Bulchandani is the Director and business leader at Avlock International India Private Limited. Sameer reports to the Company Board and is responsible for leading the company’s strategic planning, implementation and business development initiatives. He has been involved with Avlock International (SA) since 1998 through his association with the Avdel group of companies. Sameer leads an innovation think-tank that guides the group through a changing economic landscape seizing opportunities to establish new businesses as well as opportunities for existing ones.

Sameer remains actively involved in Avlock India’s (A) Organic Growth as well as Mergers and acquisitions, (B) Post Acquisition Integration; (C) Capital Allocation and Financial Review; (D) Business Development; (E) Vendor Development (F) Team Building, and (G) Performance Measurement. Sameer has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Engineering from Brown University, Rhode Island. He enjoys music, art, travelling, golf and skiing.

Nishant Bagwe joined Avlock International India Private Limited in the year 2015 and remains actively involved in Avlock India’s Sales and operations activities. He is leading all Divisions in Avlock India and is also involved in day-to-day operations activities. He has over 20 years of experience in the Fasteners Industry sector and before joining Avlock India, he held various positions at Avdel India Private Limited and Stanley Engineered Fastening India Private Limited.

Nishant is a Graduate of Mechanical Engineering with additional qualification of Diploma in Industrial Electronics & MBA in Operations. In his free time, Nishant likes playing cricket and watching TV.
