On Mother’s Day Avlock India distributed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Packages, which also included

face masks, to underprivileged Mothers staying in (Kailash Nagar) in Thane, Maharashtra.

For most of these mothers it was just another day in their lives. They were oblivious to the fact that it was

Mother’s Day! All they were thankful for was that there was a person going from door to door offering them a

bag of much needed protective equipment.

Avlock’s intent was not just to distribute PPE but to also highlight the seriousness of the pandemic and to create

awareness amongst the slum dwellers. With the increasing number of corona-virus cases in India, it has

become very important to create this awareness and to try and educate people about the importance of personal

hygiene and also of wearing a mask when outside their living quarters.

Avlock India has actively joined the fight against Covid-19 by supplying PPE (free to the underprivileged) and are

taking extra measures, beyond government mandates and the recommendations issued by the World Health

Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The Avlock India team has also been careful to take sufficient care by maintaining social distancing rules, wearing

masks and other protective gear, as per guidelines shared by health advisory and government of India whilst

distributing Personal Protective Equipment and creating awareness.
